JUNIOR RESULTS RECAP

vs Western Strikers

U12’s:
With absolutely appalling conditions to play in tonight the team did extremely well and with some late changes, gave their best effort, we started well but unfortunately couldn’t convert our chances going into halftime 0-2 down , we rallied together and got back in the game making it 1-2 and the team had real belief in getting a result , it remained a tough contest but with 15 min to go we scored a own goal while desperately defending a cross, not long from there a red card followed which killed off our chances along with the final whistle. 1-3 loss

U13’s:
The lads backed up their win on Wednesday tonight with a high intensity and physical game.
Neither team gave an inch, and quite frankly, neither deserved to lose.
Both teams play great football on a testing pitch, but our high possession game eventually bore fruit and we scored in the dying minutes and came at 1-0 winners

U14’s:
Once again, the boys took full control from the very first whistle and went up 1-0 within two minutes.
There were a couple of moments that let us down, but we managed to maintain control to go in at half time 4-2 up.
In the second half, the boys continued to dominate, finishing the game 6-3 up.
Another very strong effort that the boys should be proud of.

U15’s:
A draw against Western Strikers tonight was good enough to see us remain four points clear with one game to go!! Unbelievable seens with a late equaliser to seal the league!!!

U13’s vs Eastern United (catch up game)
Tonight started our run of three games in five days, and it was imperative that we get it off to a great start.
The lads were sharp in warm up and came ready to play.
Eastern started well, but we weathered the storm and didn't take long to take control.
A well followed up free kick saw take the lead, and followed up with our second soon after.
Second half saw a real arm wrestle with no-one giving up anything.
