🚀JUNIOR RESULTS ROUNDUP🚀
The U14s faced off against Port Adelaide Pirates today in the first elimination final.
The team started strong, creating several excellent scoring opportunities within the opening minutes. After a few near misses, we managed to break the deadlock in the 12th minute with a well-taken goal.
With the majority of the game played in our attacking half, our defence demonstrated great composure and organisation, effectively neutralising any attempts made by the Pirates.
A second goal midway through the first half, saw us go into the break with a 2-0 advantage.
The second half began shakily, however, the boys regained their focus and responded with an outstanding performance. We dominated the remainder of the match, adding three more goals to our tally.
This included a spectacular long-range effort that ricocheted off the post and into the net, and a perfectly executed header directly from a corner kick.
The match finished with an emphatic 5-0 victory, which sees us progress to play Adelaide Cobras next week in the semi-final.
