JUNIOR RESULTS RECAP

U12’s: Another disappointing loss today, made it hard for ourselves going a goal down in the first 40 seconds, 2nil down at half time but we rallied and got a goal back early in the second half, only to concede again straight away.
We are playing better each week and that’s the positive for today, unfortunately another reminder of not being focused for 60minutes, not bringing enough hunger and aggression. 4-1 loss.
We look to our Wednesday night cup game next week and hopefully a win there will kick start the players confidence

U13’s:
Following last week’s strong performance against Croydon, it was important for us to back it up today and demonstrate consistency.
We faced an early challenge with our goalkeeper sidelined through injury, but the boys took control of the game from the outset and maintained dominance throughout, limiting Fulham to very few opportunities in our defensive half.
We ran out convincing 3–0 winners, with some excellent team goals highlighting our overall play. While it was a very positive performance, we do feel there were additional goals on offer, with our finishing fluctuating from over-shooting to under-shooting this week.

U14’s: The boys took a little longer than usual to settle but at the same time convincingly took control of the game.
Resulting to a 1-0 lead at half time.
We discussed our focus on our game plan and tried to steer away from the inaccuracy displayed in the first half.

Second half we came out and continued to control the majority of play. Ended up 3-1 victors.

U15’s: An impressive game from start to finish. Fulham started the game with 5 at the back which set the tone - with Fulham looking to hold us out for as long as they could.

We missed a few good chances to take the lead early, but once we got one we piled the goals on. It was 7-0 at half time. We got to give a couple of our U14s some playing time and in the end we finished with a fantastic 11-0 win!

U16’s: The boys started well but didn’t take our chances then fell into bad habits to concede and go in at halftime 2-1 up. We talked about not switching off and doing our roles and the boys responded finishing 9-2 winners.

Playford City Patriots will mark Round 10 of the RAA NPLSA as 'Breast Cancer Round', where we play Adelaide City at home on 16th May 2026💗

We will be partnering with the Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) to host a Pink Sports Day! This is a way to raise awareness and rally together in support of Australians affected by breast cancer.

Every day, 56 Australians will be told they have breast cancer. BCNA focuses on the people affected by breast cancer and all those around them, not the disease. We have a fundraising goal of $5,000, where 100% of proceeds go to Breast Cancer Network Australia. We are greatly appreciative to anyone who donates, no matter how big or small.
